It was telling that she never used the same words in her response but chose to emphasise ‘the problem’.
Its politics - she has been told not to step out of line but won’t apologise.

I am not entirely sure there is a problem beyond 2 factors.

Firstly there isn't a legal route to claim asylum in the uk unless you are afghan, hong kong or Ukraine.

Secondly the delay in processing the claims.

The Home Office shouldn't be asking that sort of thing at all. They are not the spokesperson for the Home Secretary and should remain impartial.

The Home Office are liars, no doubt directed by Braverman.

They tweeted that the full video showed Braverman thanking the woman for sharing her story and expressing empathy for her situation.

The full video did no such thing.
