Just to remind people who we signed in the summer last time we reached the playoffs and failed - in 2015, just as we did in 2023.

These helped us get promoted the next year, and these were the calibre of player we needed this year to have a chance.

As it is, we’ll have to do with a transition season at best, Carrick will be lucky to survive it with the reactionary fan base, but hey the public deserve to vote with their feet at these walk up prices.

Every season is a “ transition season” it’s just the recruitment team letting us down finishing mid table isn’t imo a transition season it’s ****.

Our xG is 7th best in the league. Our xG vs Actual is far and away the worst in the league at nearly -1. We have made the least interceptions and also have the second lowest tackles per game stat in the league. “Werk yer socks off, get inter them and put yer chances away” as Maddo would say

Nsue was here the season before. He came on as sub in the play off final

Nuge was class. That winner against Hull in Karanka's first game back post toys out was arguably the most important of the season and the catalyst for us getting over the line.

Best way to get out of this league is to score a lot of goals, It gets said at the start of most seasons on here but that's because it the truth, yes you can get out other ways but as a rule if you are in the top 2 or 3 goal scorers there's a high probability of promotion and a definite play-off place.

Not sure where the goals are coming from this year but then it was the same at this point last season and Carrick found his goal scorers so hopefully it is the same this season too

It wasn't the same at this point last year. Last season we had scored 7 goals after 5 matches and we were unlucky to have dropped points in some of our early games. The 2-2 game against Stoke was one where we desperately unlucky.

This season we have scored 2 and we deserve the results we have got.

We've scored 3, but your point is correct
