It doesn't incur VAT. I've bought from the club shop when I lived in the States. The saving on VAT would cover the postage.We have fans World wide who demand to wear shirts to follow their team. The Clubs seems to want to keep it local for local fans unless you buy on line from the Club which obviously incurs VAT for non EU customers, so I see why people go don the cheaper option.
