Surely it would have been easier to contact season ticket holders and offer them a ticket there and then.Sounds like the club have created a perfect storm of chaos. Season ticket holders who don't already have a pre-purchased tickets have to turn up at 1.30pm to gain access and pay on the gate.
It is worth noting that it is not pay on the gate for general admission, only season ticket holders.
Hopefully it doesn't cascade into chaos and put a downer on the occasion. It should be a tight game - Long Eaton beat Stockton earlier in the season at home.

Central Avenue?I'm not sure why the club didn't go down the all ticket route but they haven't and they're left with this situation, if you want to get in then I would suggest getting there early and be prepared to wait until 13,45 when the remaining tickets will go on sale.
Hopefully tomorrow's capacity of around 1800 will suffice and enable all those who want to see the game to attend, things went smoothly on Tuesday fingers crossed of a repeat tomorrow.
My understanding is there will be a couple of hundred tickets available on the gate once all the season ticket holders have gained access and there shouldn't be any issues as long as people are sensible, patient and arrive in plenty of time.
Tickets for the match are £9 for adults £7 for OAP's and £3 for under 16's.
Let's hope Billingham Town can overcome Bedlington tonight and if they do have a bumper crowd on Monday at Central Avenue on Monday as they bid to emulate Boro Rangers and gain promotion to Northern League 1 and that Stockton can go one better than last year and gain promotion to the Northern Premier League Premier Division, could be a great weekend for North Tees football.

And here's me hoping you lads would stay up. You've got a lot to thank Billingham Town for, we supplied you with over half your best team for years, and your best manager.Nah, I speak for all of Thornaby when I say I hope those billingham pigs get beat
Well one Thornaby fan at least hopes you go up - especially as it will give us more chance next year. And here's me hoping you lads would stay up. You've got a lot to thank Billingham Town for, we supplied you with over half your best team for years, and your best manager.
Good luck to Trevor, Paul and the hard working lads lads behind the scenes at Thornaby for next season. You've been our bogey team in the past but I've always enjoyed my visits to Teesdale.
