Its in situations such as these that you have be grateful we have SG.

I know there has been some on this board and across social media that have condemned him over the past season or two. Why has he let that player go? Why hasnt he bent over backwards to keep another player, why didnt he appoint that manager? etc, etc, etc! Many have openly stated that he should sell up if he doesnt want to spend money and that he has lost interest!
Yes, he makes mistakes but thankfully those mistakes have not had much of a pemananent impact on MFC.
We dont have fortunes to spend but we are a very well run club and the risks SG takes with us are usually calculated to a certain degree, this is probably why its such a roller coaster ride for us fans.

Should we stay up I would certainly like to thank him and his crystal ball for having the foresight to tighten the purse strings when he did and put us in position where we can get through this crisis relatively unscathed.

UTB!

Ha - the fact this seems to count as “trolling” only shows you how his stock has fallen here since 2004 when he could do no wrong. He’ll be off, I’m sure, as soon as he can get a fair price for the club from someone he trusts to run it in its best interests, like he always has. The role brings nowt but grief for him now.

Some method in the madness here.
I've seen a picture of Danny Cowley up at Rockliffe last Summer, which I imagine many on here have seen too.
Huddersfield fans dont sound to enamoured with those brothers right now.
Obviously Woodgate was well weird but I think he was just a patsy to take the job while we got the wages down.
Huddersfield are screwed, Stoke are screwed.
At least we will have cleared the decks of quite a few mercenaries,
It's the next appointment that's most important.

I think fans of Sheff Wed over the years have cast their eyes enviously at our owner that’s for sure. And probably Derby‘s too. not to mention Sunderland, Forest, Birmingham, Newcastle etc.

Yes he has made some serious errors of judgement but I am still glad he’s our owner. Wish Though he’d delegate footballing matters to a footballing man with full autonomy.

Dont any new manager at any club hasnt uttered the words " we need to restructure" OK maybe Liverpools boot room or Man utd after Fergie. It was said by Strachan too. Means I want money and my people in. Fitness coach will go before next season starts.

I'm not sure it does mean I want money, or even my people in, in this case.
I think he really means there are structural problems in how talent is sought and key decisions are made on the playing side.
