One of my favourite bands back in the 70's, 'Come up and see me, make me smile' was number 1 on my 18th birthday.
A brilliant songwriter in my opinion.

Suffered all his life because of his polio infection as a kid..

Terribly sad loss. The first artist/band I went to see in 1975 on the Best Years Of Our Lives tour at Newcastle City Hall. Seen him more than anybody else over the years. I've been spinning his albums today.
