Stacey Dooley or Louis Theroux?

On a similar but different subject does anyone remember the Donal MacIntyre undercover documentary on football hooligans?
Who can forget the ridiculous way he held his cigarette? That should have given the game away straight away. No self respecting football yob would hold a cigarette in such a way.

Louis for me, loves the way he gives the subject room to breath, room to hang themselves. He's the master at it
Best example of that was when he interviewed Saville. He didn't outright ask him whether he was a paedophile, just brought up the fact that others have asked it in conversation and Saville probably felt in that moment he was having an informal conversation with a friend, forgetting he was speaking to a journalist.

He gets his subject to give answers to questions he didn't need to ask. If he had outright said to him "are you a paedophile?", Saville would have shut the interview down on the spot. Instead, the question is buried in the subtext.
