Why is it staggering?
We "only" managed 26,000 on a weekend against them 2 years ago, this is on a Tuesday night whilst on Freeview.

I think we'll have decent sales but I don't think we'll even be close to selling out.
Hopefully we manage a big win on Saturday and I'm proven wrong.

The difference is we are now playing attractive football.

There are currently 8 seats and 14 wheelchair places left so 2500 seats sold in 2.5 hours. Didn't take long for you to be wrong.

No, the league game crowd was much larger that season.

Good to have over 28,000 Boro fans at the game.

Also the last cup game against Spurs was the 3rd round. This is the 5th round, which makes a big difference.

Was still less than 30k for the league game .. must have been large segregation area
