Spence????

It's not laughable. It's laughable about people having a go at Spence after the worst midfield performance of the season, a howler by McNair and a "goalkeeper" that isn't.
But Spence has been **** for a few games now.
It's not boo boy targeting it's just opinions from more and more people.
He's not a right back because he couldn't tackle a 6inch subway sandwich and he isn't a winger because he's got one strategy and it usually ends up running into a dead end and getting blown off the ball.

Did you see where their play broke at us with was.. unreal pace and Spence tracked back, managed to catch up with his and neutralise the threat? It doesn’t fit the boo boys narrative.. but that was an exceptional piece of work.

That was impressive and something he does that none of our other players have the ability to do.

When you’re 3-1 down u bring on wingers to create something in the final third not sprint back 40 yards to stop a fourth

That's fair enough but after a couple of decent performances last season under Woodgate he hasn't pushed on at all.

Plus as others have mentioned on here before, he definitely thinks he's better than he currently is.

I can't comment on his internal thought and feelings, but I can't see the likes of Yannick & Kebano putting up with sub par performances let alone Warnock.

Don't think Spence will be here this time next year. He will want to be back darn South. No big loss if recent performances are to go on.

Watch the 4th goal back from the very start and watch Spence.
It tells you everything about his game right now.

Warnock should never of brought him on. Would like to know why he did

Don't get it either.
Can't remember the last league game he played well in.

I can accept the Mendez-Laing wasn't fit enough to play, but it doesn't explain bringing on Spence before Watmore when we're chasing a game.
