Spence welcoming Warnock to Twitter..

I was told he has done something whilst at the club so bad none of the players wanted him here.......... rumours of player vote to have him out too. I genuinely don't know what he did though.

Spence has just helped Forest win promotion - he is buzzing and he’s having a laugh.
He’s had a fantastic season for another club.

I‘m more gutted that he could that have had a fantastic season for us and who knows where that could have ended up.
No one comes out of this looking well but, lets remember - Warnock got the bullet and we improved massively after that

I find this hard to believe though given he always gets a few current Boro players commenting on his Instagram and likewise him commenting on theirs?

The period where we improved was immediately after Wilder arrived until the turn of the year where we were 5th. That coincided with Jones playing the RWB position Spence would want to have played.
Since the January transfer window we haven't really been very good bar the Spurs performance and Old Trafford.

The photo is a perfect description of Spence.
I hope we get a massive fee and spend it well, because if we do we will be passing Forest as they go back where they have been for over a generation. They really didn't look a good side yesterday.
Spence, Davis, Zinckernagel and Garner started yesterday and Lowe was on the bench. All loan players. To buy those players would cost Forest £30m. That is before they try and improve their side.
Colback, Cook, Worrall and McKenna are a long way from being anything other than Championship players IMHO. They haven't anything that they own that you would want to buy, other than Johnson.

It is hard to begrudge Forest fans a return to the PL given how long they have been away, but it is hard to see how they survive.

Of more concern to me is how we could have spent more money than them on fees, borrowed the same number of players, changed manager from a better position than them and fallen away so poorly by comparison to them.
Their loans worked way better than ours. Their manager has had far more impact.

I think we own better players than they do, will get a big fee for Spence, will have the ability to recruit a very good squad, have a Chairman who can manage FFP and has clear appetite again.
I'm just haunted by our inability to find loan players (Siliki, Connolly, Balogan, Sporar, Hernandez) and questionable (bar Crooks) return from £11m spent on fees.
Scott and Wilder have an excellent opportunity at Middlesbrough. I hope they are up to it.

I’m not sure Warnock deserves much respect given some of the stories coming out from former ex players.
I don't respect Warnock, however, as a player you keep it indoors. The fact this was the first thing on his mind after winning at wembley looks really bitter. If he is motivated only by anger and hate, then what does that say about him emotionally? Clubs look at 4 aspect of a player, technical/tactical, physical, Psyhcological and Social. This attitude really brings into question the psychological and social parts of his ability.

Think results-wise we can narrow it down to april, 5 points in 7 games. relegation form that month. either side of that was still over 1.5points a game. To be fair we won plenty of games after january, we just lost far too many, 7 and 4 of them were in april

Scary really how other clubs loans work out - obviously you only hear about the successful ones - but Spence, Garner etc at Forest, the striker at Coventry, the liverpool defender Phillips at Bournemouth to name a couple, but ours are usually garbage. Definitely an area that needs improving, we don't want 4/5 loan signings like Forest so if we go up we're dealing with a huge rebuild but 1/2 really good ones can make a team.

We were off from the closure of that window.
I truly hope it was just Cup distraction and hangover and not a sign of what we really are.
The recruitment needs to be light years better than it was last season.
