Spence looks a spent force @ Spurs

If he dont start playing regularly he will disappear with a short career a bad move on his behalf going to spurs forest might buy him back in the summer.

I don’t think he will tbh. I can see him going out on loan in January.. Bundesliga might be an option?
 
Sessengon arrived with a big reputation, disappeared for seasons & only now getting a game.

TBF to Spence if he lasts into new year he may have a new manager to impress & chance of more game time..

His Spurs career is just starting..

Played 70 games over four seasons.. didn’t want to be here, didn’t want anything to do with us. Leave him to it. He’s not our player.

Neither are Tav and Bamford who also didn't want to be here but we hear plenty of.

Now that the Spurs fans and board have seen him play, and it sounds like he may have done ok, it will be interesting to see how Conte plays it.

Bamford didn’t want to leave and still speaks very highly of the club and his time here. Tavernier was outstanding for us and wanted to play for us in the premier league, he turned down premier league clubs and extended his contact with us to do so.

Spence was a total Wilder
 
Not really much interested in what Djed Spence does anymore but it's not unheard of for a young player to take a while to break into first team. Remember when we signed Paddy McNair and Pulis never played him for a full season. Spence has plenty of time and could easily go on to be a regular starter for spurs yet.

You'd think Spence refused to pick himself the way he's treat by some on here. He showed what he could do under a decent manager, shame he wasn't here to be given a chance under Carrick, a right side of Spence and Jones could have worked.
 
Said at the start of the season when they signed him that he wouldn't break into that Spurs side.

They're a Champions League team, not just an ordinary PL team.

It would have been obviously difficult for him to reject Spurs with the money they'll have offered him, but he's basically halted his career by going there.

Called it in August - he'll go to Spurs, play very little, be sent out on loan in Jan, then probably be sold either summer of 2023 or following season.

He's not good enough for Spurs and I don't think he ever will be.
 
TBF Spence didn't get on with Warnock and took his chance on loan at Forest. No reason to be bitter really, hope it works out for him at Spurs.
