Spare/Replacement Ford Car Key

Stupidly opened the boot to my Ford Fiesta (which ive not even had a week) with the boot button without opening the car up last night ... you can guess what happened next

Car only came with 1 key so my only option was to source a locksmith to pick my drivers door lock so I could retrieve said key. Mad watching someone literally break into your own car with this metal tool they had

Anyhow I can't allow this to happen again, the daft thing is my previous car was also a Fiesta which I had the spare key and I never managed to do this once in 6 years

I don't fancy paying Ford's prices and I haven't got the log book yet anyhow anyone recommend anywhere i'll be able to get my key duplicated/coded etc?

Yes, I suppose its all to do with the micro chips for the security etc. I remember my first car, a mini, it has a door key but you could open it with a pen knife.
