South stand ticket

They'll be tonnes of empty seats the club is choosing not to sell them as highlighted in the fans forum minutes due to people feeling the need to run upto the away supporters everytime we score a goal regardless of the opposition.

Sunderland have had needle with Cov fans in recent seasons so they are no angels themselves

Yeah mate seen it myself theres always empty seats left at the end of 58 or 56

Sunderland have had needle with cov for years. Because of when cov cheated and kicked off late. Finished after Sunderland game and played the last 10 minutes like a training game to get a draw. Sunderland missed out on promotion. That’s why the Jimmy hill statue gets boarded up when Sunderland are down there
 
There will be a bit of spice today. When we played down there the coaches took ages to set off and some Boro thugs chased their fans around the ground

They wouldn’t let us past the coaches to get out and sent us right the way round but all they ended up doing was moving the place that fans would possibly clash elsewhere.
 
It was round the arena side that they were running about. We got comfortably beat in the game but a lot has changed since then

Cheated? I think you've been hanging out with too many mackems mate.
They kicked off late because of the huge attendance they attracted that night (37,000). The game was equally important to Bristol City, so seeing out the final few minutes was a logical conclusion for both.
 
Online all available South Stand is sold out - looks like a bigger crowd today then against Reading.

Maybe 4,800 Boro tickets unsold
1,400 Coventry unsold assume they bring about 1,400
3,000 segregation

Leaves a 24.5k crowd.

Crowds defo starting to increase again - was slowly getting worse under warnock

@rob_fmttm is this something that can be taken up with the club? Fans unable to buy South Stand tickets online yet plenty of empty seats come kick off.

Im affraid its justified after what i witnessed again today looking on from the North Stand.

After we scored one 'fan/supporter' actually managed to get over the netting and very near the cov fans. Other fans stood in the stairway goading the away support long after we scored too not even watching the bl00dy game
