Sorry another Tav thread

Nobody covered themselves in glory tonight and he did put two very good corners in but his general play is abysmal. How many times did he either give the ball to a Blackburn player or straight out of play. Not good enough I am afraid.

Yea and people are trying to defend him in another thread just because he put a couple of decent crosses in.

His general play was absolutely pathetic.

The amount of times he fails to retain possession is crazy. I am waiting for people to have a pop because I have dared to raise a new thread but we need something better in that position

Hey, I got shouted at on here for starting a thread when there were other similar threads already running 🙄😳😔

How many times did he put it straight out of play then?

Apologies Erimus

I wasn’t counting Wilko. Maybe not that many but if you are happy with his general play then that’s fine. For me he has been turning in poor performances for some time now ( with no lack of effort I must say)

A few times less than Howson and McNair. He wasn't the problem last night.

Seems to be a lot of similar threads with an agenda from “new members” attacking a player who by any stretch of the imagination was not our worse player last night. Somebody trying to shout loudest and not getting attention.

I think the frustration for Tav comes not from the fact that he is the worst player on the pitch, but more from the fact that he is NEVER the best player on the pitch.

He has all the makings of a really good player, but he consistently isnt delivering. I fear he will lose his window of opportunity with Wilder at some point.

Tav is crucial to how we play, it's obvious. If you can't see that then there's probably not much point in trying to convince you of the same.
