Soooo... Is that our season finally done and we start looking towards next season?

I can't see a way that we can get close to the play offs now, too many teams that we'd have to get beyond and well it appears that it is Barnsleys to lose the form they're in.

If we had a proper striker I'm sure it would have been different so we have to prioritize that and a GK in the summer and then the wingers but none of that will be cheap so hoepfully Gibbo can turn the sofa over of something.

The play offs were done a few weeks ago. Losing so many home games is never a sign of a play off season.

It's a big preseason coming up. How many current players stay remains to be seen.

Season was already done for me, in terms I’d play off ambitions.

I think we just need to try to have the best run in possible to give us a platform for next season.

Also, the closer we get to the play offs the more attractive we are to players in the summer.

Yes, play offs went with that recent awful home form. Still plenty of twists left in the season though. Hopefully we can be involved in a few of those. My overriding aim though for the rest of this season is for the club to stay “classy”. I would hate for us to roll over for Watford at home 👀👀

I said they were done weeks ago for the same reasons but I was told I was negative.

As much as he might not want to there has to be a lot of changes next season unless these loans are all signing permanently.

We need around 6 players in at least.

The season's not done till it's over. I get to most games home and away if I can and every match is a competitive encounter to support the Boro. If the players give up early, it's a slight on the fans who support through thick and thin.

we still have bournmouth and barnsley to play, Barnsley away would have been a great following if we had been allowed to go, although it does look as though it is 6th we only have a slim chance of reaching, it aint over till it's over

It's not over with 11 games to play and 33 points up for grabs. It's not even out of our hands yet, neverr mind over. If we win all 11 games we are in the playoffs. What has made it a little more difficult is there are 3 teams we have to pass. Our form has to be 8 points better than those three teams until the end of the season.

It is looking less likely now, but we didn't loose yesterday because of a poor perrformance, we had the points taken from us for non-footballing reasons. Our form has gone up, and remained decent for around 6 games now and barring a poor referree we would have won 4 from 6, drawn one and lost one. That is play-off form. If it continues like that for the rest of the season we will make the play-offs.

We are 7th in the 6 game form league and should be 5th, but for a poor referee. We will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

Bit early for festivities isn't it? 😆 or still a bit squiffy from last night?

being ambitious with the forecasts I have us on 73 points end of season. That requires Barnsley to only get 15 points from 36 which is a complete form drop off.

Nothing against Barnsley, I’d love to see them do it. But at the minute everything they hit is going in. Still too much of the season left for that form to continue. Also Cardiff.

Woodies Bmuff will get at least sixth and win the play offs

watford and Norwich Automatic

Didn't drink a drop last night Artie, which granted is odd for me on a saturday. Watched House re-runs to cheer myself up.

In any event, mark my words young man, we will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. We don't need to win 11 games, that was to counterr the argument about it being out of our hands, it isn't.

Yesterday was dissappointing but we are, recently playing in to form and are good enough, at the moment for a playoff place. Other teams will drop clangers, who knows we may even have a refs decision go our way once or twice.

LM I think Bournemouth will miss out on the play-offs and finish below us.

To be honest you'd not have said Cardiff or Barnsley would have gone on the runs they have had.

I just think any team can go on a 6-7 game winning run. You simply can't predict it.

So for me it's not 'over'. It's probably 4 or 5 games away from that. We can't just give up with 11 games to play. It's nearly a quarter of the season. Just try and keep winning and see what happens.

Also you'd want to be in some kind of form going into next season. Don't just finish 14th.
