Songs that have been spoilt by footy

Tom Hark...... I can’t not sing the terrace version

Glory Glory Hallelujah.................. My dislike of Man ure and dirty Leeds may have something to do with it.

I went to see Crawley Town on Tuesday night and now I never want to hear "I'm Into Something Good" again in my life.

I'm guessing it's their club anthem, although I don't know why. It's a great song, but I must've heard it 100+ times in 90 minutes.

A very old one- from a singer called Leapy Lee in the 60,s
"Tip toe, through the Holgate
With yer pickaxe,
and yer sawn off shotgun,
Tip toe, through the Holgate,
with me"

The title of this chart topping hit was "Tip toe through the tulips"

Que Sera Sera, whatever will be will be......

You'll never walk again...........
That's Tiny Tim. Leapy Lea was 'Little Arrows'. I'm sure they're both in Erimus 74's collection.

It's been pigbag since we moved to the Riverside apart from the brief return to the Power game under Mogga.

I don't mind it.bi think it gets used as a stick to beat MMp

Garry Monk’s taking us up, like he said he would..... 😂😂

The team have definitely come out to 20th Century Boy at some stage during the Robbo years (unless I'm really losing my memory, which isn't impossible o_O)

Pounding by The Doves, absolute classic indie tune, but it seems to have been adopted by Man City fans as their match day anthem, if there’s a video of it on You Tube there’s always a plastic City fan claiming it as there own..t**ts 😡😂

I could be wrong, but I'm sure the club did a fans poll for a walk out music around 95 and Pigbag just happened to be big that month and got voted in??

I was listening to Nursery rhymes with the grandkids and "You are my sunshine " came on. Both lads sing the Boro version now.
"Jingle Bells" also gets used about now, "oh what fun it is to see the Boro win away"
There's lots of tunes with footy lyrics and I annoy my wife when I add them to songs, the Nicky Bailey one (i love you, baby), Marvin Emnes (I would walk a thousand miles) and loads more.
