Some great gigs coming up. What have you got lined up.

The Spitfires are no more ☹️
Their final gig is Electric Ballroom on 26th Feb
"Farewell" final gig.
Dont know what caused the break up (?). Billy posted the new album will still be released.
Cant imagine Billy just sitting around.....
Seen them many times.

Last time I saw them singer was clearly spending too much time with his mate Charlie and the band was suffering because of it.

Totally lost interest in them then so things may have changed for the better since and it may now just be good old "musical differences"

It's good to see people getting out and about.

Like a few others I've got The Howl and the Hum tonight and TMTCH on Friday.

February I'm seeing Jodie Nicholson at the Georgian and Sea Power in Folkstone.

March is Altered Images and Finn Forster at the Georgian and Glen Tilbrook at Arc, although I'm torn with going to Millwall instead to tick off a ground I've not been too yet.

April I've Sea Power in London, Glasgow and Manchester and John Cooper Clarke at Arc. Weller in Newcastle which sadly clashes with Stockton Calling.

May is Stewart Lee in Durham and Royston Club at the Westgarth

Nothing more until Sept when its Sea Power at Muncaster Castle.

Idles and Big Joanie were superb last night, though I wasn't blown away by Sinead O'Brien. I think she needs to listen to a bit of Siouxsie Sioux for some ideas.

I dont see that "spending too much time with his friend Charlie" has anything to do with the band.

No doubt Billy and Matt Johnson will be able to tell us at the gig(y)

Thanks for the heads up re: Krakenhaus - didn't realise they were doing that again, always missed out before but looks great. Bank Holiday as well (y)

I'll be going to see them at the Leadmill in April but fancy Muncaster as well now.

Check out timings if you are going by train. Engineering works that weekend and the closest we could get to home is Eaglescliffe on Grand Central.

They said that ticket details should be released this month. Last one at Muncaster was great. Not too many people and a really relaxed atmosphere.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll probably stay over if I do go but haven't given transport much of a thought yet.
