Sol Brynn - 8 clean sheets - great recognition from Swindon Town

Totally the right move to send him out, he didn't have any experience of english adult football. Half a season at Queen of the South last season was a great bit of experience, but Scottish second tier is not a great standard.

League Two experience now, probably stands a chance of team of the season.

Next year if we're still championship he can maybe be first choice. If we go up then send him on loan to the champo

Don't forget we also have Roberts who is equally highly rated and has done little wrong on the occasions he's been called upon.

Assuming Steffen goes back to City it's good to know we have some real competition for the GK shirt already for next season.

Conceded 5 against Sunderland under 21s and was apparently terrible

🤦‍♂️.. Shows how much I know then!! :ROFLMAO:

To be fair though he was highly rated when signed and looked solid enough in the few first team appearances he's had.

Yeah I’d say that’s fair enough too although was quite disappointed with the goal he conceded that knocked us out of the league cup. Feels more like a no 2 for me which is fine too. When Brynn does come back hopefully he’s able to make no 1 his own

Roberts is 28, he's approaching his prime and has never been anything but a lower league keeper. Cheap backup to Steffen, but I don't look at him as anything other than a temporary squad player who will be gone in 6-18 months

Brynn is 22, in his infancy as an adult player.
