Obviously trying to push out Danny Ric. He says he's got a cast iron contract for next season but rumours abound there's some form of performance prerequisite built in.

Apparently most Indycar contracts with these options require mutual agreement to activate the extension. If his is the same, there’s no issue. If it’s not, he’s in breach of contract.

I thought they were going with Pato O'Ward to replace DR? He seems to be around when available and has tested for them aswel as already being a contracted driver for McClaren.
