I've no Idea - as we have so many non-performing players at the moment
I'd bring Giles back in for Clarke , with Bola pushing inside
Jones is suspended - so if we continue with wing backs either Lenihan/McNair come in and Dijksteel pushes wide , or we stick with Smith
But it's the other end as you say that's even more of a concern
Crooks looks knackered, Howson is 35, Mowatt doesn't look suited to the role he's playing
But what choices do we have?
Up front we could maybe bring in Forss for Watmore
Even in goal I'm not sure, but don't see that changing

We need to be more compact - this will give the players a bit more confidence, not so scared of being punished if they lose the ball. Be more direct. Not long balls but short passes played forwards. One touch passing. Stop all this **** in wide areas where we knock the ball about aimlessly.

I think the two deep one further forward 3 in midfield is the right thing.

Bola, fry, Dijksteel as a three (I doubt he is willing to try dijksteel instead of Howson like I want to see).

I'd play mcnair and crooks as the deeper two and then mcgree behind Forss and Muniz (with Hoppe as first sub).

He needs to swallow his pride on the only playing left footed players on the left, right footed players on the right. Mowatt has clearly lost his pace and is currently unplayable on current form (not sure how much is mental vs physical).

I wouldn't be against any two from Muniz, Hoppe, Forss and Akpom starting to be honest.

(I'm still hanging my hat on Hoppe getting us an important goal or two and becoming a bit of a cult figure, I have no idea why)

If we're winning towards the end bring Smith on at RB and Clarke at LB. McGree for one of the fowards and Hoppe for the other. Mowatt for whichever of the two CMs seems more knackered.

If we're losing towards 70 mins then use it to experiment. Smith on at RB and see how Dijksteel does at CM. Hackney on in the other CM spot.

I remember Jimmy Floyd was a striker but used to drop into a ten role for us in some of the tricky European games so I'm sure today's strikers can manage that too.
