So, what’s the plan?

We have a revolutionary forward thinking new system headed up by Keiran Scott. They sacked Warnock for a more long term appointment who fitted in with this new way of working and was heralded a perfect fit.

11 months later we’re going into our third week of searching for the latest perfect fit for the forward thinking system.

Our revolutionary forward thinking system entails Bausor and the recruitment team signing who they want regardless of managerial input, then when the manager isn’t happy his “demeanour” changes and the gazette are sent to do a hatchet job on them.

Then we again look for the next perfect fit for the revolutionary forward thinking system.

Hope this answers your question.

Nope - all we have is speculation. There has been no official word on the direction of the club. Post-Preston we were promised an overhaul for a promotion push, but all of a sudden we’re after developing a Brentford style moneyball system?

If that was the case, and developing players was the plan, why on god’s green earth would Marcus Forss have agreed to leave premier league Brentford to play in our reserves?

Nobody actually knows, everyone is just guessing.

I would imagine after the first half the plan is to get the best candidate in ASAP. I would imagine some compromise will have to be made on the clubs side if it were to be Carrick. If the club go for Edwards I think he would be a yes man. Thats not a bad thing if he gets results. If we go foreign then they are used to the perceived model we have and would be a good fit for the club but I am not sure the players are the most intelligent or receptive to playing a continental way. We do need to move quickly, just to give the fans a spark.

No an ounce of communication from the club since the removal of wilder
That’s a disgrace in and of itself

What do you want Gibson to say?

We’re gonna take chunks out of the league.

We’re gonna smash it.

We’re going with Steve Agnew.

It doesn’t matter what he says. Currently it is not good enough. End of. Be angry about it, but what do you want him to say? It will only make it worse as it gives people a stick to beat him with. We are currently crap, total crap. At some point it will get better.

I want him to outline what the direction of the football club is because there’s a lot of talk about the ‘model’. What’s the model?

If it’s to develop players and identify young targets that we’ll sell for profit in the future when was that decided? Because if it was decided a long time ago, why did we appoint Wilder knowing we couldn’t back him with the players he wanted?

My point is nobody knows that this ‘model’ was our intention all along. They’re just surmising it is because we’ve been utter *****.

We have been utter *****.

We needed players to improve us this season, we didn’t get them but I think we tried.

You know what the model is, you’ve quoted it. I’m as p’d off as anyone. I don’t want platitudes and sound bites. Just put it right

Come out and show some authority and display some fcuking confidence but fcuking nowt from him or the ghostly figure of bausor
I’m astonished that neither of them have offered some reassurance publicly, I’m convinced it’s because they have no real idea who they want and why…..
Clueless at the top ripples down to clueless on the pitch

Bausor is the commercial guy isn’t he? Sponsorship, Partnerships, Commercial deals!

Keiran Scott was brought in as ‘head of football‘ tasked with finding a new manager, new head of scouting and head of recruitment. He brought in Chris Wilder, tried to bring in Andy Scott (head of recruitment) who went to Forest and after the window he brough in Chris Jones as head of scouting. We have a recruitment team made up of three lads who look like they just play champ man all day. Keiran Scott sorts out the deals when the players have been identified, this summer there were several deals that didn’t get done as they went over what we wanted to pay. Greaves, Choudhury, Henry, Larsen etc
Wilder wanted Naismith, McGoldrick and Gayle, deals were mentioned and Gibson stepped in to stop them from going ahead. They didn’t fit the project, the thread, etc Too old, to high risk, not enough games in the tank.

Rob Edwards sounded like a sure thing with Kieran Scott.. Wilder fired only a week after he was given the boot from Watford. Is he the right fit for where we are right now? More of a builder than a fixer as Leo would put it.

Has anyone spoken to Warnock?

Actions over words. I know I wouldn’t feel any better if he said anything . We are all thoroughly fed up with this season. Gibbo coming out and saying “there, there. It will soon be much better” isn’t going to cut it. I don’t want him to say sorry. He is clearly going to be unhappy with it as much (many millions of reasons why it will be worse for him). As we all are.

We’ve got to suck it up. It’s gonna be like this for a few weeks yet. It will get better, how, when. Don’t know that bit

I wish Gibson would say he’s sold the club for a pittance and has decided to **** off

It's taken the likes of Brentford and Brighton many years to get where they are, following the system that we have now adopted. We've had what, 12 to 18 months of it so far. Agree, it hasn't gone swimmingly but come on..... Everything is negative after a loss. Projects take time, and I for one would rather be a supporter of a team that had a definitive direction than just continue with rebuild after rebuild when a manager fails. That is 100% unsustainable unless you have the backing of the Saudi government.

To a man, I don't think we are worse than what we have come up against so far this season. With the odd exception. But yes, we desperately need a new manager in charge. That was clearly abundant in the first half today. Our squad is definitely capable of being competitive with some expert guidance. It's not all doom and gloom.

See there it is again, Brighton & Brentford. So is that what we’re trying to emulate? Or is it just guesswork again? Because if it is, why Wilder?

The fans didn’t need a spark today. Support was brilliant, let down by the dross on the pitch.

It’s not guesswork fella, read the gazette, speak to Craig Johns as I have. He’s been privy to conversations and has published this information.

Forward thinking strategy of buying younger players with resale value and a coach that is ok with that happening above him.

It’s all there.

I think it’s time we heard from the higher-up’s, the last time I can remember Gibson talking to us was when he appointed Woodgate.

Time to come out of hiding Steve.

The plan is if you beat your chest enough times and say how much you love the club, you will get the managers job with Gibson . Apparently being passionate means you’re competent
