My current "guilty pleasure" is Mylene Farmer, absolutely amazing shows (mostly in French) if you like the big productions from the like of Madonna and Kylie, check her out. Her lyrics are more complex than either though.

I've been faffing on utube all aftie listening to some of my faves etc. Anyhow, in them times you end up going down a rabbit hole turns out I'm quite the fan of Harry Styles and Billie Ellish...who'd have though at 49 I'd be down with the kids still

I had the opposite sort of experience and accidentally discovered Jefferson Airplane after hearing this track. Listen to loads of 60s and 70s stuff now, and I'm definitely not down with the kids.
