Have we found a cure then only knows ones told us ? Yay we’re all saved.

so what’s the logic behind this one then.

Infection chance apparently.
It's most likely as an appeasement before they are asked to lockdown again when the r shoots up or we reach the flu season.

Isn't it been reported it's over 1/1000 chance of catching it now of you've not had it before?

Yes Randy, but there was the huge caveat that you have to be extremely careful about your social distancing. Yet more ****-covering via muddled messaging in my opinion.
I think that we saw with Professor Van Tam's response yesterday, the scientists are very much against a lot of policy right now and they are kicking against the pricks.

Told my parents that they are not going anywhere just yet. Nothing has changed, just because the govt need to change the agenda they are willing to gamble.
So much for following the science....who's science are they following now? Trumps? Bolsonaro's?

Balance needs to be found from all parties, science and government.

A serious point:
Some people with epilepsy who contract a virus are more prone to seizures - so if the virus remains as prevelant as it is, then those people are especially vulnerable?

Why now would be my question as what has realistically changed, compared to last week.

nothing
Last week they were going to extend safeguarding to end of June. This week they cut it short by two weeks. Football, Cricket, Rugby and Horse racing can start from tomorrow.

Strange. Especially as some medical experts appear to be sceptical.

Govt advice, guidelines and instructions are unclear to say the least, downright confusing to be more accurate.

Couple that with the reluctance to issue proper, effective punishments (I suggest seizing of equipment and vehicles plus a fine of £1000 for the first offence, doubling with every subsequent offence) for the selfish, arrogant sh!ts who are holding parties, raves, etc. and even going tombstoning.

It’s like watching a slow car crash.

Pretty sick of this rubbish now, the government have been unclear from day one, Boris Johnson can barely string a sentence together, I have urged my grandad to keep doing what he has been for a while longer yet, this is all so rushed to probably just try to save a little face.
