So, I sat and waited

for almost a week, but still there was no mention on here about a shameful waste of money and downright ineptitude. Why could that be? Oh! Hang on a minute!

But, but, Boris! But, but Brexit, blah blah blah.

All councils (and governments) invest in property portfolios, art works, stocks and shares - so do large companys and big sized employers.

its impossible to say that they belong to one colour of rosette, or t'other - they belong to the constituent tax payers / citizens - they are under the ownership & control of the council mixed political management committees.

at various times there are deficits right across the UK depending on what the investments are in - i would give a good guess that many have lost money in the recent gas company collapses.

screaming, bawling and pointing fingers about it from a self indicated high peak, just makes you look silly, foolish and a little unworldly bout the subject of the rant.

public finances and governance is clearly not your thing, i'd be inclined to wind me neck in a little and learn.

when your sat around in the future with 'nothing else to do' - try reading a book

And I'm sure that if it had been a Tory council that had needed bailing out, you would have been the first to leap to their defence?
