Just finished it last night - absolutely brilliant I thought, like a black version of The Sopranos. Not quite at that level but not far off. 80’s clothes and soundtrack spot on

I struggle with some of the dialogue when some of the characters speak very quickly.

I’m not sure it’s an age thing.

I'm watching Top Boy currently and need the subtitles, I had no idea what they were repeatedly uttering and then saw it was Wagwan.

I answered a call yesterday and almost said Wagwan instead of hello.

IMO the first series is the weakest - it gets better and better.
I was the same - never heard of it until my mate recommended it.

We found exactly the same thing. Stopped after 2 episodes. Love the vibe and concept but not the dialogue
