Yes and the likes of Sky are doing more each year to block access especially during big PPV events but generally it’s pretty reliable with a decent VPN which for some people makes the risk worth it.

My view is that everything now is switch on and offable. Even Sky channels are all available via NowTV (legally) without committing to a long contract. So Sky is getting binned.
Even if IPTV went down you could instantly access Sky Sports/TNT etc perfectly legitimately (for a bigger cost with short commitment).

Yeah but that’s no more expensive that it is via a Sky contract you’re committed to for 12 months.
Sky’s whole model will have to change. The Sky Glass concept was so that they owned your living room, but I don’t know many who’ve fallen for it.

I cancelled last year after 30 years!
For 12 months - I've paid £40 for all sky channels via Now TV.
£20 for sky sports
£13 for movies and entertainment (same as signature)
£6 boost which gives HD, no adverts, and three devices
No RPI rise in April
Six month contract.
also - take a six month contract in April/May then renew with Black Friday deals in November
I lose recording facility from Sky Q
one device from Sky Go
But that isn't worth the extra £40 month they were going to charge me for multi room, HD and annual rise every April plus 18 month contracts
Last point - the extra cost I've added is
Apple TV box
Download TV launcher - isn't quite Sky Q or stream but gives functional use of TV guide and live TV
Apple TV software and function is far better than sky's as it's the picture quality
Cost of apple box side (when paid for)
This is half the price of sky and you have the control as a customer!
There's some good reviews on you tube to check it out!
