Sky coverage

Absolutely ****. All we have seen is close ups of managers and players and missing action because of replays. Must of seen about 50% of the game.

Camera man got a thing for heckingbottom
iFollow is the same, so much camera time on their manager. Hardly any on a Carrick.

Don Goodman, commentator and ex Makem, can't see Boro overtaking Sheffield United. Fair enough, they're still 7 points ahead, but give Boro some credit as we played them off the park tonight. Oh! and by the way, that McAteer's a mouthy whiney tw@ isn't he, crying in the refs ear all game?

BBC Look Tyne will comment on Sunderland being only 6 points behind Boro and they're coming after us. We'll get minimal coverage tomorrow and the Skunks preparations for Wembey will take top billing. I won't be watching.

Goodman did say we were fantastic tonight tbf. Complimentary about mcgree archer akpom forss etc etc

I thought mcgree was sensational

Surprisingly I got both the BoroLive and the DAZN 🇨🇦 streams for the match. Was expecting only the latter.

Whilst I agree about long looks at Heckingbottom whilst the ball was in play I thought we got plenty of praise. The comment "they're being outplayed" about United before we were even ahead sticks in my mind when we started to pass them off the pitch. And the long interviews at the end would have really peeved us if the reverse had happened.

Yeah, if you’re talking about when it was their throw in on the left and the Sheff United had something to say to their fans, they weren’t giving the ball back?
Looked like one of the Sheff fans said something to their player before throwing the ball back.
A couple of other Sheff U fans then tried to get to the fan. Stewards had to stop them from fighting and there was a few punches thrown.
After the match more Sheff U fans tried to get to him. Looked like he wasnt going to get out of the ground alive.
Cant imagine he'll be sitting in that seat again.

Agree with @TeaCider - commentary was fine but some really strange camerawork. Too many replays, close ups, shots of people sitting in the director’s box. Fair enough when there’s a break, but there were so many times we were shown Heckingbottom on the phone or a replay of a really tame shot or cross while you could literally hear the game happening in the background.

Also don’t forget that Stewy was a pundit last night and was talking us up like a true Teessider. We got a good review last night and rightly so.
