Middlesbrough South had two great Labour MPs in Ashok Kumar and Tom Blenkinsop and we need someone of this calibre and local to the area to contest this seat again.Surely the swivel eyed loons of his constituency can't continue to approve of this imbecile.
Yes - it's a silly tradition that the Tories weaponised. Stupid of Byrne, given who he was dealing with. Here we go, from the horses mouth, a responsible and honest person, who will be remembered for a daft mistake. A decade later, these grifters are still harking back to that, rather then owning the plethora of mistakes they've made which far outweigh a daft note.

I have had the displeasure of meeting Clarke on two occasions, the last time he wasn't happy with me and made a complaint to the school head that I had spoilt his picture.
I was taking my students from the behaviour unit (like herding cats) over for lunch and he was standing outside getting his photo taken. He asked me to keep the students to one side and in my best 'yeah joking aren't yeah' accent, carried on through the main doors.
Mr Clarke had to wait for my motley crew to go through.
