I've been thinking about this since the announcement.

The club's statement suggests Leo and co are 'taking over first team affairs on an interim basis'.

Just how far down the line are we with the appointment of a new manager?

Surely Gibson/Scott haven't pulled the trigger this morning and then gone 'right, better get cracked on with looking for someone else'. They must have had plenty of discussions on who they want, and even approached their targets.

Wilder was appointed almost immediately after the Warnock announcement.

Appointment to be made before Birmingham?
