Shooting at a school in USA

I wouldn't have a clue how to fire a gun and load it. Something deeply wrong in that country.
Many UK adults wouldn't. Unless you pick stuff up from movies. I can say this as 23 years in the military.

It's shocking that a 6 year old can pull a trigger. I'm only hazarding a guess yet I presume it must have been loaded. Those loons probably leave them 'ready' to go.

Given that it was an infant doing the shooting, will the pro gun people still want teachers to be armed? Imagine the possibilities.

The scary part is that a 6 year old has actively taken it into school and more so knows how to use it.

I would imagine it will turn out to be his parents weapon. Using a gun isn't as 'simple' as picking it up and pulling the trigger. He must have some knowledge. You see loads of ridiculous videos on YouTube of Americans letting kids shoot guns.

Absolutely madness 😕
Depends what kind of weapon it was, a pistol for example won’t always have a safety mechanism. It literally is just point and pull the trigger.

It's ridiculously easy to do...and that's why it's dangerous.

And doubly dangerous when in the hands of Americans with the regulations they have.
Remember that case where a 9 year old accidentally shot the weapon instructor dead with an Uzi?

Why on earth would children be allowed, under supervision or not, to use an automatic weapon?

What do you mean coming to? As much of a tragedy it is, this sort of thing sadly happens every day in the USA. It’s the norm over there and has been for as long as I can remember.
Yup, I was thinking the same thing.

This thread title could get posted every day for the last however long years.
