Yes, remarked to Ramsgate Red at the beginning - the outhousery started before we kicked a ball.
 
It was a frustrating one. Nothing worse than the away fans goading you and you desperately want the team to score to shut them up, but your gut tells you it's not happening.

Can't blame them though I suppose, we'd have done the same had the shoe been on another foot.
 
The number ten running into the Boro half before kickoff to wind up the Boro players after the overlong huddle. They had a plan and carried it out.

We looked way off the pace and panicked just about every time they pressed. And when we did play through the press and gain some advantage after passing amongst the defenders, we were either too ponderous allowing them to regain shape or our passing in the final third was woeful.

They've definitely fully embraced all the dark arts whilst also being a decent team. Exactly the sort of League 1 outfit that goes straight through the Champo to the Premier League.
 
Weak referee again, in regards to the time wasting.

We all knew the CB was going to take the goal kicks yet each time they had one; GK positions it on the line pretending to look for a long pass, before pretending there’s nothing on so the CB comes to take a short one.

30 seconds minimum each goal kick, and of course the ref let them repeat it every.single.time!!!
 
I thought Morsey should have at least been booked for the foul on Rogers.

He had a decent game though, doing what he does well, getting in people's faces and playing it (very) simple.

We were second best in every department.
 
Totally underwhelmed by Ipswich - they’re organised etc but don’t look anything special at all based on that performance. I fully expect them to fall away in the second half of the season

same people that expected them to be nowhere near the top of the table?

Aside from Ipswich supporters who expected them to be near the top of this league?

At this point we have seen and played many of the teams in the league and from what I saw yesterday I would be surprised if they are still in the top two by the end of the season. They have got such a good start they should make the play offs but who knows? They are nowhere near as good as Leeds, Leicester and quite a few others. By the accounts of some Ipswich supporters they have had a very good run with injuries.

They were one of the favourites for promotion with the bookies at the beginning of the season.
 
All part of the game now unfortunately, they were better than us in every way yesterday. We had no answer to them and only a couple of attempts on target.

Which only proves that there had been more money placed on them than some others. I doubt that it was based on anything more than that.
