Joke of a punishment.
I wonder whether us, Coventry and Sunderland will look to take legal action over this ?
Its an utter joke they were able to not pay for 5 members of their promotion winning team and be allowed to go up.
I'm pretty sure they were only able to pay for the players when automatic promotion was guaranteed too, despite what their website claims.
Many teams have worked out the FFP pitfalls and are willing to take the hit when it occurs as it really doesnt damage them financially, only maybe morally. FFP has to inflict tougher sentences but I don’t see it happening. If a team cheats their way out of a league they shouldn't be allowed back into it when they get relegated, should drop down to the league below.
and parachute payments. It makes it worth cheatingPlus they’ve pocketed the proceeds from a season in the premier league.

That's the spiritWe'll still be below them after the first game.
2 points, a mere drop in the ocean.
Seny cost Boro that with his duff pass on Wednesday.
Bit of a pedantic point, perhaps, but this isn’t an FFP breach at all. It was a charge under Regulation 52 which relates to transfers. The point still stands that the sentence doesn’t seem much of a deterrent, although it is pretty much in line with other penalties for late payment. Many teams have worked out the FFP pitfalls and are willing to take the hit when it occurs as it really doesnt damage them financially, only maybe morally.
