Just had a quick browse on their forum and some of them are having a meltdown. Plenty of them calling for the manager to be sacked. They're 2nd in the league!!

I think it's fair to say they're rattled, they know we played them off the park at their place and they're very concerned.

Sheffield United ... we're coming for you.

Like most Forums'when it's not going well on the pitch there are always posters who go over the top just like on here pre Carrick with comments such as 'The club is rotten to the core 'etc.A bit of perspective is sometimes hard to find at times with football as results determine fans emotions between ultimate gloom to the nice rose tinted versions we have at the moment.
 
I find it so ironic that after Sunderlanf beat us they were the ones who were gonna hunt down second and they were the best team in the land.
Fast Forward to March and if they beat Sheffield United and we do the business the night before, we're one victory away from being in the top 2 over the international break. That is remarkable

The psychological edge we'd have, knowing we'd knocked them off their perch and they'd bottled it and became the chasers, can not be understated

They're the least knowledgeable* fans in the land. In the days after they beat us they were adamant they'd finish above us, or batter us in the play offs 'cos they played us off the park' (after we had a player sent off :rolleyes:).

*or as deluded as the skunks.

I don't think they'll beat Sheff Utd, sadly.
 
Havent sold all their 1955 tickets for Sunderland I see (not many left to be fair assuming all blocks have been released)
