We saying similar types of things under Wilder. Howson was past it, defence was a shambles, Lenihan was a waste of space and so on, McGree not fit to lick Tav's boots and we would be lucky to avoid relegation. Turns out that good players are good players when well managed and bad players when badly managed. Sheffield Utd have a lot of very good players but they've lost faith and confidence. The question now is whether someone will do for them what Leadbitter did for us under AK or whether they will slump like we did under Pulis.

Barlaser said something interesting a couple of weeks back. Last season, he was promoted with Rotherham and said that falling out of the automatic promotion places actually galvanised them and turned it around. If Sheffield Utd do turn it around, no number of wins will get us into second place.

I have nothing against Sheffield Utd, but really enjoying us closing the gap and seeing the pressure ramp up on them. Pretty much all the pundits thought that the top 2 were nailed on a couple of months ago. Pressure on them again, even if some of their upcoming games should be easy. .

The championship is never that simple year in year it and there is still many twists and turns to happen this season and I expect it to go to the last day of the season once again lets hope we are in the driving seat by then!

Agreed, nowt against them but they've gotten complacent and not seen us coming. At least Carrick has the right attitude, we can't control what anyone else does, just what we do.

Well it's going to be 4 unless something amazing happens in the next few hours.

To be fair Luton are closer to us the we are to Sheff Utd. Ok we're on a great run but there's probably many twists and turns before the end of the season.
