Sheff Utd, 9 games in April

It could come down to which team can beat Burnley.. & fair play to them for mullering Burnley at their place earlier in the season..

Burnley (certainly their fans) are still smarting from that, so I don't think they will show any let up, even if promoted already, on that one. They have been talking about getting them back to their place ever since. Back then the Blades fans were quite belligerent. Less so now.

Not sure where this fixture list is from but it's wrong

They play Burnley on the 11th (3 days after Burnley play us, not 2).

Needless to say I see the Burnley fixture/s as being important. Following that, just relying on the relentlessness of the fixtures regardless of the opposition

Still lots of points to play for. Could change significantly in either direction. If dropping two points to Stoke turns out to be our only downturn in form it'll have been a hell of a turnaround. (it has been anyway tbf)
Burnley play Sheffield Utd on April 10th 8pm Kick Off, that’s on Sky after our game v Bristol City same day.

Just been reading Paul Ince's comments about points deductions. He says he's expecting their a number of other clubs to be told on Thursday whether they are being deducted points.

I know Wigan and Huddersfield are trying to avoid administration this season. I wonder if the EFL might do something with Sheff Utd if they are having ongoing problems paying transfer fees and their player wages.

Could be an interesting international break.

So we need Huddersfield to be within 6 points of safety - otherwise it could well be a nothing game for Huddersfield Town.

I can see the relegation battle going to the wire for Huddersfield.

If they have something to play for, that could work out well for us. Opposed to say SU playing Hull then with nothing to play for.

Huddersfield are 4 to 5 points a drift at present - if they don't allow that gap to widen they will have something to play for when they meet SU.

It’ll be how they respond to getting pumped 6-0 by Man City at Wembley. Blazing sunshine, chasing shadows for 90mins. The only annoying thing about their fixture list is the number of home games they have. That could prove very important.

Thing is they are playing every 3/4 days, big pressure games, I just think they'll run out of legs again.. Norwich, Burnley & WBA.. plus teams battling relegation, two away games last won't be easy.
