Watching 2nd half & England are abysmal: just no clue.. can't put two passes together, poor game play & mistake after mistake..

Also look two yards short on the Spanish players, though I think another two short in the reading of the game..

Very, very poor.. time for Neville to stand down & get an experienced, quality manager in..

It's almost like the team in the World Cup was still playing in the mould of Mark Sampson and he was the brains behind it all. Now that Phil has been there an extended period of time they are now Phil Neville's team, hence why they are fecking awful. The guy has an IQ of a carrot

I was interested to see if there was an improvement, there really wasn't. The USA team look like athletes our lot, too many look - as some mens players did back in the day - overweight & unfit.. they could not run to keep up with play..

I think the game is - MASSIVELY - overhyped esp on the BBC for the numbers that, appear, follow it & propped up on the back on Premier League money.. however it seems to have caught the imagination of girls & gives them a route to follow the game as they mature & as the numbers increase, so hopefully will the quality..

Uber has hit the nail on the head.... that and the loss of a few key players

Jordan Nobbs not fully match fit after a long layoff with cruciate problems, Steph Houghton not brought on until half time as not fully fit. Beth England and Beth Mead also unavailable has taken it's toll. Japan will be a real challenge for Neville and the Lionesses.

I'm not one for knocking pundits normally but I'll never forget the time he tried to convince Mark Chapman that David Unsworth was 'more experienced' (his words) than Sam Allardyce and therefore a better bet for the Everton job. If he's your mate Phil just come out and say you want to see your mate get the job.
