Shark attacks to be rebranded....

A shark attack would be my choice. Crocs are much more dangerous and likely to be deadly 🐊
Also getting bit in dirty water raises the risk of infection. So from a purely medical point you are probably better off getting bit by a shark. They also, as bear said, spit you out. Apprently we taste bloody awful. We are like marmite to sharks.

It's the box jellyfish I'm more wary of than the Noahs arks when I'm down under.

box jellyfish always remind me of Bill Brycon's book "down under".

as an American he was struck by the similarity between Aussies and Brits when it came to understating things. Apparently the box jellyfish is the most painful venom known to man. He was aware of a case where a bloke was stung, ended up in a coma and even in the coma was still crying out in pain.

when Bill asked an Aussie how much it would hurt if you were stung by one, the answer he received was "yeah, it'd sting a bit"

Hope they feel the same about vegemite which is our disgusting version here in Oz.
Seriously tho, you've more chance of winning the lotto than encountering a shark.
After over fifty years of living in Oz and a regular swimmer, snorkeller and scuba diver, I've rarely seen one other than in an aquarium.

When my wife and I lived in Bondi my stepbrother and his wife came to visit and we took them to the beach.
He was terrified to go in the water but eventually I talked him in to joining me. He would only and gingerly take a few steps at a time.
It was hilarious when he got smashed by the breakers and believe me I would much rather have seen a shark than his white bare ****
bobbing up and down in the surf and watching him trying to pull up his cossies when beached like a whale on the sand. 🤣

Heam as a newly minted member of the married man club, why aren't you walking round either tk max or a garden center.
TK max or the garden centre! If only!!

She had me tidying the cupboard under the sink, re-sealing the bath and cleaning the cars!
