We were shïte at Stoke, but have won the last three with him back. Not knocking Glover, as he did OK, but I’m glad Dieng is back. Think he gives the defence a bit more confidence.
He’ll be thanking VDB tonight though
I am glad he is back as well back four / five appear much more confident with him there but don't think Glover is that bad at all, and Dieng could of done better for the Norwich goal last week but did not get too much stick, I doubt Glover would of been in the same boatWe were shïte at Stoke, but have won the last three with him back. If he didn’t make gaffs, one per game, then I fear he wouldn’t be playing for us.He’s made a gaff in 3 different games fortunately it hasn’t cost us . Obviously I’d still rather have in goal over a full season. It would be nice to end the season well with a run of wins
Yes he spills less than Glover who I think did okay. This recent starting 11 along with a revised focus on defensive play has made a big difference. Moreover, Dieng’s now frequent direct hoofing of the ball up the field as opposed to us almost always playing out from the back has been noticeable. If Dieng had have been in goal we'd have beaten Sunderland and would have possibly gotten a draw at least at Preston.
It was a massive blunder by Carrick not bringing him straight back into the side. Glover was signed to be a number two for a reason.
Team mates need to help each other out sometimes. VDB was terrible against Norwich but is team mates helped him out. For the record I think VDB has been our player of the season. but against Norwich oh dear.Second game in a row VDB has saved us conceding with superb defensive work. We'd have had 1 point from the last two games potentially if not for him.

That's tactics from the manager not dieng.Long passes, not hoofs ........
Both seem to be doing well enough, one of them deserves the chance to be number 2 next seasonThink Glover may have played his last game for Boro. I am hoping so as he is nowhere near good enough for where we want to be. Hopefully we will bring Brynn and Hemming back and one of those will step up to the number 2 spot.
