Seny Dieng

Without a shadow of a doubt from what I have seen in the extended highlights, although he did make up fantastically for dropping a blob (I`m back for next home game I cant wait). I would say he is the best keeper we have had since Skippy IMHO..

He seems to be getting more and more confident and wins us matches as he did yesterday. He starting to feel like the regular in-between the sticks.
 
His distribution and accuracy most of the team is also excellent, he is a fantastic signing and the team will of learnt a lot yesterday from that game.

I thought Deing some brilliant saves.

Howson and Fry outstanding and Josh yet again give there defenders a really rough afternoon and we lost a little bit of a grip on the game when Josh and Cooks went off, but clawed it back after the goal.

Great win especially with the like of Obrien, Mcgree, Lenihan and Forss unavailable.

I hope we can make some smart business in January to help push the team on.

Dieng is going to be a massive miss when he leaves for the AFCON!
 
Some great saves yesterday, and sound on crosses.

I'd say he's easily our best since Randolph and he may prove to be better if he keeps it up.

I did think his distribution was below his usual high standard yesterday; almost all Leicester's best chances were created by the high press Rather than any attacking play, and Dieng was one of the players who struggled a bit with that.

It should be a strength though. We play it out, they press , then dinking the ball over the top to Josh has to create some overloads if they have 3 or 4 players committed up field, doesn't it?
 
I think some are forgetting Randolph who was excellent. Dieng is much better than Steffen though, the mistakes that happen at the back when playing out are rarely his.
 
If he continues as he has for the full season, I'd definitely rank him above Randolph.

Cost less than half the price too.
 
i think he has a few mistakes in the bank to be honest,(by that i mean hes so good most people could allow for th e odd mistake along the way as hes earned it with his performances)hes been outstanding since he came in and MUST instill confidence in the defenders in front of him
