Sell McGree and McNair….

only saw the highlights from the first half but saw the 2nd half. No way is McNair to blame for the first goal. You don't want people chopping people out on the wing 25-30 yards from goal. It was a good goal, yes some of our players could do better but it was good play. Our goal the keeper had a nightmare but made up for it later. I thought it was a pretty even match and a good game of football and a draw would have been a fair result. If anyone is to blame Dijksteel lost his man for a brief moment for the winner, but that is harsh. I though Mcgree played pretty well over all not amazing but had a good game.
McNair should have done what Adam Clayton would have done, take one for the team, protect the goal at all costs.

Didn’t think McGree was anything special and I’m unconvinced with him as a 10. We need a second striker instead
"Anything special" is an under-statement.
some folk are easily pleased.

He reminds me of Jacob Butterfield who fiddled about doing nothing very well, before we bundled him off to Huddersfield as part of the Clayton deal.

Normally a fan of McGree but he was very poor tonight. Shooting was abysmal.
We saw a different game. He really wasn't poor. His finishing ok left a lot to be desired but his general play, involvement, energy going forward was good I thought. He was causing problems second half.

Well I saw thew same match as smogonsea, he was awful IMHO.

So.. sell McGree and McNair.. and Jones and Fry. Still bring in the players we were going to. But get rid of Chris WIlder because.. erm he wanted to go to Burnley last season and he's not as good as Woodgate even and a premier league club will be after him sooner rather than later.

Now incoming we've got Sean Dyche who will stop us conceding goals at least (play 4-4-2)

Smith---Onyeka--Teuma------Giles
---------Surridge--Muniz-----------

Gitau--Hannah--Robinson----Howe
Conteh--Crooks--Mowatt--Bilongo
----------Forrs--Hoppe--------------

Do we give Sean Dyche until Xmas to get us promoted? or do we give him the January transfer window to replace the likes of McGree, McNair, Jones and Fry..

Then what about life AFTER Sean Dyche? Surely the premier league clubs will be swarming if he's managed to put a few more points on the board after a difficult start to the season! Maybe Tony Mowbray would jump ship after a successful season with Sunderland? He would be closer to home and be able to pick up some bargains to replace Steffen, Onyeke, Giles, Mowett & Muniz.. Patterson, O'Nein, Clarke, Neil & Stewart? Jobs a good un!!

McGree seems to divide opinion, I think he’s effective as a number 10 in the Championship and let’s face it if he was any more than that he wouldn’t be playing for us. Similarly McNair is competent at centre back or in midfield. Personally I think we aren’t far off and it’s not down to those two we have started poorly this season.

Exactly this, we can’t keep ripping it up and starting again after a poor start. We have let Wilder buy his type of players to replace Warnock’s players, who replaced Woodgate's and who was tasked with getting rid of Monk’s and Pulis’s🤔

Woodgate was tasked with treading water and letting contracts run down after Monk & Pullis, Warnock took over and was given the chance of a light rebuild. Wilder is in place now aided by Kieran Scott to bring the SS Norwich/Sheffield HMS pragmatic moneyball to the playoffs in the hope of improving the squad, tightening the belt and bringing money in. Norwich, Sheff, Watford & Burnley are all in the mix.. the mission to make it past two or three of them.
