Self isolation from social media.

Going to self isolate myself for 2 weeks from social media as I can't stand all the rabid doom mongers/keyboard experts.

Twitter is awful anyway IMHO, I signed up to try it & opted out, can't see the point, or reason to follow individual one bit

I'd urge everyone to stick with social media, be it here, Facebook or Twitter as it could well become the medium is was initially envisioned to be.

I did a month at the start and it did a world of good. Over the last week or so, I've considered doing it again, maybe for a bit longer.

I've enjoyed this forum since the lockdown kicked in, the togetherness from some of the posters has been excellent, the quizzes top notch

I got rid of all forms of social media in 2014, best thing I ever did, I can actually put my phone/tablet down and not touch it for hours on end. True freedom.

Blame coronavirus for that, this platform is excellent and not the poison of Facebook/Twitter etc, there is a lot of good that comes from fmttm and I will happily contribute to this board.

I'm not interested in any other social media I don't even know how it all works, don't know how people have the time...
