Secure your bikes

I was knocked up at 4:30am by a representative of Her Majesty's County Durham law enforcement agency. My garage had been broken in to. Fortunately nothing taken, the Copper told me they had been roving the town breaking into sheds and garages nicking bikes and tools. The only damage they had done to my property was they had smashed the security light off the garage. I think they have looked inside and seen nothing easily portable and legged it or got disturbed? In the next street along they had dropped two bikes, two toolboxes and a hoover.

If you have bikes make sure they are well secured. Darlo last night, could be your neighbourhood tomorrow, make it difficult for them.

Scrotes.

What’s bewildering is in this current Covid climate how do they move them on ? I know they won’t abide by Covid rules but ordinarily it would be boot sales or boozers I’d guess

Crime Scenes have just been as I found a screwdriver that wasn't mine on the bonnet of my old car, they've taken prints off it. They had been in my neighbours garage and stolen a brand new carpet cleaner with a box full of the tools that go with it but left his golf clubs (worth about a grand). Neighbour over the road has them on CCTV coming out of our property carrying the cleaner and a box.

I guess there are always ways to get stuff sold for a few quid pandemic or no.

Big business in London stealing top-end bikes and selling them abroad.
Last year an artic was stopped at Dover, loaded with stolen bikes, including pro-bikes. Some worth 20K.
Organised.
Rich pickings.
Some bastads would take the steam off your tea if they thought they could make something out of it.
Get a e-chip put in the frame and track it.
