Season Ticket Holders

Are the thousands of fans who had planned to but have not the chance to renew still classed as 'season ticket holders'. Will these fans have to pay £10 per match to stream? The post on the MFC site is not very clear.

As things stand, my understanding is that you will only be classed as a season ticket holder if you have purchased one. Further season tickets may become available, but this is subject to many ifs and buts.

Surely due to the current restrictions during these extraordinary times, this season is very unique and the club have actually already said that no season ticket will lose their status, with that in mind, and with demand vastly outstripping supply, then all of last seasons will be deemed as either current holders who have managed to renew or season ticket holders effectively in limbo awaiting further restrictions to be gradually lifted.

Why would they give it for free to people who haven't actually paid for the season ticket?
Those who have renewed have paid for more matches than they'll be able to attend, and free access to these streams goes some way towards rectifying that.

The club have handled this so poorly, but I don't think that giving 18,000 people the stream for free is going to be much help to them and could potentially anger those that did renew.

Though I suspect they'll be doing the match by match refund again, so I suppose renewers won't actually be worse off.

A lot of people feeling angry and alienated by the way the club have handled the whole renewal piece, if they are to try and castigate these season ticket holders who were unable to renew further, then that could be the final straw for many.

What else could they do? With a very limited capacity thousands are always going to miss out one way or another

No chance will MFC give last years season card holders - who haven't renewed this season - free live access to matches.

And rightly so.

Fans had 6 months to sign up....that's a lot longer than usual, at a discounted early bird price.

Understandable why some fans have waited before signing up, but the fans who forked out money before knowing what division we were in, or not knowing when games would be back to normal deserve the free live access.

Apart from the fact it was open during a global pandemic with no end in sight. Okay we’ll gloss over that - bad season ticket holder Here not taking the risk to renew with elderly relatives 🙋🏻‍♂️

Its £420 for a low priced season ticket - I think people who have not paid that can use that saving to pay for a streamed £10 match ticket - why should they get it free. Games are only free to stream while crowds are heavily restricted. Genuine fans want to help their clubs financially.

Non renewing season ticket holders should keep their status when purchasing in 2021/2, or half season ticket in 2020/21 but beyond that they need to buy the real thing.
