Scottish By Election

This result makes it look like the SNP bubble has burst. I did think it was touch and go if Labour would struggle to get an overall majority as I had put Scotland down as only 2 to 3 seats for Labour at the next GE, now it looks like 25 seats, which should means its likely there will be an overall majority.

At a casual glance, yes.

But it's difficult to read anything into it once you take into account the reasons for the by-election and the recent shenanigans around Sturgeon.

The SNP have time before a General Election to put that behind themselves. They might not manage it but I'd be very surprised if this seat isn't returned with a very small margin either way.
