Big bags of cash would be my guess

Shameful isn’t it.

Imagine knowing your season ticket money was paying for this regime.

Hundreds of migrants killed by Saudi border guards - report https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-66545787

It absolutely baffles me how they have passed the FA Fit and Proper Person Test when acquiring Newcastle United when things such as these are still happening. I’d wave this report in their faces and have them stripped of the club in no time.

Not the nicest of reads for a Monday morning 😢
Er hadn't you heard....

It’s baffling that the wealthiest get their way?

Where have you been o_O

The British Military Mission in Saudi Arabia has senior British Military personnel embedded with the Saudi Regime.
British military "expertise" and intelligence is vital part of the training of Saudi Armed Forces: backed up with £M`s UK Arms to the Saudi Regime. The British government, the Armed Forces and all British Major Arms manufacturers are inextricably linked. The King and the House of Saud are welcomed with open arms by the British Government and the establishment who support it. Nothing will change - only the Public Relations to the plebs - untill the arms sales stop and the military is withdrawn. However, the geo-political interests in the region mean Prince Chopper is a key "ally" of the British state.
Not to mention the oil....

Here’s one that works
We wouldn’t want to let this go would we?

We have a Govt who aren't too fussed who they do business with.
The difficulty is we have is lots of people on Teesside are employed by Sabic, and have been since about 2007(is it wrong?) - I know its not sports washing, whatever that is these days, its just plain old cold blooded murder by this bunch of *****- but we cant start throwing stones at the lads up the road. Or can we?

That's why when you vote its not always about voting for what gives you the poshest or richest sounding choice, or that a stupid brain thinks it reflects how you want to appear to others. Its much more important than that - really it is.

For the record its not a go at you Jedi, not in a million years, but Im glad you brought this up.

Because the test only looks at specific financial facts. Such as have they ever been part of a business that went bankrupt, can they provide evidence of funds.

The test (and fit and proper isn’t the correct term but one adopted by the media)isn’t meant to check the morality of owners. To be honest that should be government responsibility but they’re in bed with the Saudis too

or the old Tory question if you took the pennies off a Deadman's eyes -how would you invest it ?

We provide them weapons which are being used to destroy Yemen and what is left of it - It wont make the news.

They have endless pots of cash.

The people at the top are as corrupt as anything.

This headline and story isnt a one off, yet who is taking a stand? Footballers are not? 'Celebs' and other sport stars are not taking a stand.

Morals are great but Money means more.

“Last week Downing Street confirmed that Rishi Sunak plans to welcome Saudi Arabia’s crown prince Mohammed bin Salman to London “at the earliest opportunity”

Christ if Cruella gets wind of this she’ll see it as the perfect solution to the small boats.

The proven oil reserves in Saudi Arabia are reportedly the second largest in the world, estimated in 2017 to be 268 billion barrels (43×109 m3) (Gbbl hereafter), including 2.5 Gbbl in the Saudi–Kuwaiti neutral zone. This would correspond to more than 50 years of production at current rates.

Human rights…..forget it. No chance.

Our government leaned on the FA when they were deciding on the fit and proper bit. Geopolitics infecting football 👎
