So what other threads has this been discussed on? It seems appropriate to mention it - on a Saudi GP thread.

I boycotted the winter olympics because of the internment, forced abortion, forced sterilization, forced birth control, forced labour, torture, brainwashing, alleged rape (including gang rape) taking place amongst the Uighurs, but the boycott doesn't appear to have had the desired effect. In fact the bloke behind the counter at the local takeaway has started to look at me in a rather peculiar way. Oh, and I'm trying hard not to do business with the Chinese, but it's proving to be quite difficult.

I'm thinking of boycotting the Australian GP because of the way they hold refugees in detention centres, but that's pointless because nobody gives a ****.

So, I'm going to boycott anything to do with the US because of the way they hold and torture detainees in Guantánamo Bay, and because they are 5th on a world league table of executions of people in 2020. My boycott will start just as soon as the PGA Tour golf has finished on the tele.

I'm going to lump the Saudi's in with the others along with Myanmar and Russia because I am going to watch the GP.



When it's finished I'll boycott Saudi oil like the rest of you aren't doing.
