Today's results couldn't have gone any better.
Hull, Preston, Coventry & Norwich all losing. While we won.

Will it happen again on Saturday? Probably not, but but these are the fixtures so you never know:
- Norwich v Ipswich
- Coventry v Leeds
- Cardiff v Hull
- Watford v Preston
- Boro v Swansea

if I've worked it out correctly, this will be the table if it does:

6) Norwich P41, Pts 64
7) Boro P41, Pts 61
8) Coventry P40, Pts 60
9) Preston P40, Pts 59
10) Cardiff P41, Pts 59
11) Hull P40, Pts 58

I know, I know....it's the hope....

Win the next 3.

Coventry lose to Leeds, then lose to Southampton, and only draw against Birmingham, we negate their game in hand.

Norwich lose to Ipswich and then shockingly lose to Sheffield Wednesday before a draw against Preston ensures we leapfrog them both and are in the play-offs.

Simple stuff, really.

Even if by some miracle we got into the playoffs and won it can you honestly say there’s even one player in the squad capable of holding their own in the premier league ? Hackney and Rav have great potential but that’s all it is really, they’re just young lads. Can’t see any of the others being good enough, barring Dieng possibly. We would be the leagues whipping boys every week - having said that we would get a large wad of wonga 😃

Not worrying about any of that tbh.
It's just good that this season isn't quite over.
Just yet.

Luton

This league is mad.
The table could just as plausibly look like this on Sat night:

6) Norwich P41, Pts 67
7) Coventry P40, Pts 63
8) Preston P40, Pts 62
9) Hull P40, Pts 61
10) Boro P41, Pts 58
11) Cardiff P41, Pts 56

Or anywhere in between.

That last sentence is the absolutely critical one there. Doesn't matter if we get beaten 12-0 week in, week out - the financial footing of the club would be secured for the next 3-4 years.

I think that is possible, but I would also bet that's the closest we would come between now and the end of the season to 6th spot.
