I think we should break the bank for him in the summer, 21 goals this season, & that’s with no penalties. That’s if a Premiership club doesn’t come in for him, which theirs a good chance they might.

He’s had a great season but I think we will look for younger with more potential.

Look he’s a decent player who’s had a great season, but he’s 29 in September and he won’t have any real resale value o. A 3 or 4 year contract.

In top of that, yes he’s done great this year but only got 5 last year and 6 the year before that.

Good player, but peaked and doesn’t fit our model
 
Its a bad strategy to sign other championship club's best players

You pay a high premium, and they only join you if they're not really good enough for the PL.

Blackburn would want at least what we got for Chuba. Probably more as I think he has 2 years left in his contract.

Age should not be a factor if you can put the ball in the net as you get older you use your head instead of your feet to read the game & be in the right place instead of running around like a headless chicken when young look at the age of the players at real mardrid well into there 30's.
 
My simple question would be...why would he come here......?
I know we're a decent club...but I can't see it personally.
What do I know....f%%% sweet fa going by recent weeks.😊

And if they don’t get you up you’ve wasted 12m-14m down the pan, plus big wages….hopefully we’ve learned fro the Britt assombalonga saga not to lumber ourselves with massive financial burdens on players who have had one good season at this level

He’s a tough one to value, his pedigree was quite low down the football league, didn’t make the cut at Bristol city and has sprung to life this season with Blackburn.

£6-8m I would probably value him at.

I guess the most important question is what do Blackburn value him and the second question is how much do other teams value him at.
