Sam Greenwood

He was good today, no problem giving him that.

Too little too late to change my opinion of him. He's not been useless by any means, but I don't think he's enough to take us forward.
 
We shall soon find out. His wages may be the deciding factor. It seems, rumour wise, we are going after 4/5 players. Maybe the loanees; Ayling, Greenwood, O’Brien and Thomas are four of them? Still think we need another striker alongside Manu and Josh, a defensive midfielder plus a left sided attacker.
 
Some good footwork in the box to create space for himself and set up the 2nd goal.

I'm still obviously going to judge him on what I've seen overall during his stint here though, and he hasn't shown enough to convince me he'd be worth signing.

I wouldn't mind signing any of them in principle but it depends what our other options are. I can see Greenwood being a decent squad/rotation option but his wages might be more than that.
 
I think Gilbert’s last few appearance’s may have shown we probably don’t really need Greenwood. I don’t think the club will want to spent much on him and he’ll go somewhere else
 
Thought he did well when he came in today, but is he better than we already have? Not convinced…he will be a good player one day…wish the lad well in the future.
 
2 bright cameos off the bench. Probably not enough to earn him a place here next season. I can imagine he is still on a list off potential signings but probably a long way down it.

Same with Luke Thomas. Can't see us signing him unless one of Engel or Bangura leaves. He has improved but from a very low standard.

In both cases they have experience playing with us and that is a big advantage.
 
If the price were right and wages at the right level I would sign obrien and Thomas. They are both young and have started slowly for us for different reasons.

Both look to me too be good enough to develop into very good players. Of course the cost must reflect that.

Our coaches will have a very good idea of where they are at and why.
