“Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, Oliver Quick finds himself drawn into the world of the charming aristocratic Felix Catton, who invites him to Saltburn.”

Sounds awesome. Cameo from Mogga? Maybe he’ll be operating the vertical railway?

Disappointed me, as I thought it was about the town.

It's just the name of a made up aristocratic estate.

I don't know what's about but was assuming it was set or filmed in Saltburn as well, so was after watching it just for that. Turns out it was made in Northamptonshire and Oxford FFS 😁

Ex hitman, Paratrooper, SAS and ex Merc, with a "heart of gold" (Sean Bean) retires to live by the coast and opens a fish and chip shop in a quiet North Eastern seaside town, tries to leave his past behind him until an aggrieved son of a former hit catches up with him. Ultra violent denouement on Saltburn pier as our antihero is forced to confront his past with explosive consequences.

Contains car chases, nudity, extreme violence and subtitles (Teesside to English)

The final scene has the ex soldiers estranged child kidnapped by the baddies and strapped to the buffers at the end of the miniature railway. Sean Bean manages to jump onto the moving train where a fight over the locomotive controls with a henchman ensues. He overpowers him just in time, dispatched him into the beck and pulls up just in time not to kill the kid. Happy ending with them walking along the prom with ice creams.

I think Houchen could play the role of an evil developer, he could be giving the beach away in a deal with a team of villains who are trying to stop people testing the water for pollutants, and they should have a fight on the saltburn cliff lift, one of them could climb on the roof, an homage to where eagles dare

The song probably better than the actual movie? Saltburn property prices going up or down based on the movie success lol 😆
